The atmospheric Cinema Orion, situated in Kamppi, is a jewel of the art déco -age. Built for silent film, the cinema has been continuously operating since it's opening to the public in March 1928. The theatre hall's soft armchair-like seats have often been called "the most comfortable in the city".

Since February of 2019 the cinema has been run by The Centre of Moving Image ELKE association. We aim to showcase diverse film repertoire in Helsinki, including the newest art house films as well as classics, media art and film education.
