If movie subtitles are delivered as separate files, they must be compatible with the movie file (for example, it is not possible to combine a DCP movie with subtitles delivered in SRT format).
Short Film Compilations
If multiple short films (in different formats) will be shown at the event, we request that the films are compiled in screening order on a single hard drive. When creating the compilation, please note that showing short films in different formats works best if films in the same format are presented consecutively—for example, DCP-format films first, followed by .mp4 or .mov files. Switching between different formats causes short interruptions of approximately 20 seconds. You can also purchase the compilation as a separate service for €80 + VAT per hour.
Delivery of Screening Copies:
Please deliver all the screening material of your event at latest 3 days before the screening to the Cinema. . If the material is delivered later, we cannot guarantee that it can be presented. It is sufficient to submit meeting materials 2 business days before the event begins. You can arrange delivery of a copy directly with producer Jaana Rinta-Koskela at [email protected] / +358 50 554 4872.
If you are delivering a physical copy of the screening material (please check the hard drive formatting instructions under"screening formats"above) to the theatre box office during opening hours, please remember to label the copy with the film title and screening time. If the hard drive contains multiple films, please also include a cue sheet with the screening order, film titles, and durations.
If it is not possible for you to deliver the screening copy on a hard drive and you would like the theatre to download the DCP copy from a download link, an additional fee of €50 + VAT will apply.
