Cinema Orionissa järjestetään asiantuntija- ja tekijäkeskusteluita uusimmista dokumenttielokuvista yhteistyössä Dokumenttikilta ry:n kanssa. Dokkariklubin näytökset jatkuvat keväällä 2025!
The Documentary Guild has been organizing film screenings under the name Dokkariklubi for over a decade. At Dokkariklubi, in addition to domestic films that achieve theatrical release, high-quality new feature-length documentaries that remain outside theatrical distribution are also showcased. Each screening is accompanied by a discussion event with the filmmakers or expert guests. Dokkariklubi aims to meet the need for experiencing documentary films in high-quality viewing conditions and fostering interaction with the audience.
A group formed from the members of the Documentary Guild's board selects films to be included in the Dokkariklubi series. The group curates a lineup featuring films that will not be distributed in theaters, as well as, traditionally, films that have just been released in theaters for public viewing.
The series is funded by AVEK and The Finnish Documentary Guild.
