Muutoksen tuulet puhaltavat Teron elämässä. Paras ystävä Henri, oma poika, löytää rinnalleen tyttöystävän, ja pienessä mökissä ei ole enää tilaa neljälle. Isän ja koiran on muutettava omaan tupaan, josta manaajan on karkoitettava pahat henget. Yksinäisyys ja etäisyys poikaansa saa Teron elämän horjumaan ja Henrin huolestumaan isänsä hyvinvoinnista.

Muutos heijastuu erityisesti Teroon, joka joutuu pohtimaan ehkä jopa itsestäänselvyytenä pitämiään asioita. Isovanhemmat ovat aina huolehtineet pojistaan Terosta ja Henristä. Heikki-papan lonkkavaivat ja Pirjo-mummin ikääntyminen kääntävät asetelman päälaelleen. Samalla Tero joutuu kohtaamaan kipeän todellisuuden: Henri ei ole enää lapsi. Teron on opittava päästämään irti ja kohdattava maailma yksin.

A touching story about family, love, and the difficulty of letting go.
Winds of change are blowing in Tero’s life. His best friend Henri, his own son, finds himself a girlfriend, and suddenly there’s no longer room for four in the small cottage. The father and the dog must move into a place of their own, where a spiritual healer is needed to drive away evil spirits. Loneliness and the growing distance from his son begin to shake Tero’s life, worrying Henri about his father’s well-being.
The Beauty of Errors tells a story about the interdependence within a family, how those bonds change, and what family truly means. The change is reflected especially in Tero, who is forced to reconsider things he may have always taken for granted. The grandparents have always taken care of their sons, Tero and Henri but grandfather Heikki’s hip problems and grandmother Pirjo’s aging turn the situation upside down. At the same time, Tero must face a painful truth: Henri is no longer a child. Tero has to learn to let go and face the world on his own.
