Pepe is a lumberjack, who believes in a better tomorrow even though he lacks a reason to do so. The well-meaning man loses his wife, his house and his best friend all in a short span of time, but reacts to the tragic events in a calmly optimistic manner. Pepe's story is rife with humor that's dry as dust, absurd twists and mystical sights in the small northern town.
